Fanny

3 or 4 years Tan and white Poodle/Chihuahua mix Three bundles of matted hair and foxtails were brought to the shelter by someone who said they were strays. Whether or not they actually were we will never know, but we DO know that no living creature should ever be treated as these precious pups were. Fanny, the smallest of the three, had to be completely shaved; but, as we all know, hair grows back, and Fanny’s lovely locks will soon return. What will not have to return, however, for it never left, is this sweet girl’s spirit. In spite of her ordeal, she loves everyone she meets, and we’ve promised her she will never again be anyone’s ‘Second Hand Rose’. Fanny weighs 11.5 pounds and is spayed, microchipped, and current on all vaccines.
