Socrates

3 years old, White, Poodle, Socrates was grateful for his stay in the shelter because he had the first bath and grooming in his life. He also was pleased because food arrived daily in a bowl and suddenly life was predictable. Since Socrates is rather philosophical about his prior life he takes it in stride and holds no grudges. He has the wisdom of the ages and he also has the smarts that Poodles are known for so he will be just fine. After all, he taught ethics to Plato, his student, so he is a very balanced and thoughtful dog. Now that he is clean, neutered, micro chipped and vaccinated, Plato is ready to begin his true mission. He will bring enthusiasm and joy to his every day, a lesson that we all should learn. As a bonus, Socrates will not shed. What more could anyone ask for?
