Thank goodness someone came along, scooped up and brought Cheers to us. He is now safe and warm as he begins his search for his true forever family. Three or four months old and weighing 12 pounds, Cheers is understandably a little frightened. Hold him for just a few minutes, though, and he’ll melt into your arms and heart. Because he is a puppy, he needs a family who will be dedicated to helping him become the best adult he can possibly be. Cheers will eventually be microchipped, vaccinated, and neutered as part of his adoption. How this boy wound up in the shelter we have no idea. What we do know, however, is that he is now free and waiting for his forever family to come along. Now this 5-year-old little lady is safe with Carole Pearson and her Dawg Squad Rescue, never to be dumped like garbage again. Pastina is sweet and kind and hopes to find a new person soon. Four-month-old Rachel is irresistible! She was found tied to a pole on a busy street. When no one came for her, a friend scooped her up and brought her to us. In spite of her ordeal, Rachel is the most adorable, the sweetest, the most confident puppy we’ve ever met. She’ll be your immediate and everlasting friend. No one may have told her that her first four months of life were going to be this way, but we have promised her the rest of her life will be filled with love, long walks, lots of toys, soft beds, and a family that will love and spoil her. This little beauty, with the cutest tiny tail and softest puppy fur, currently weighs 13 pounds and has been given her first set of puppy shots. She will eventually be spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated as part of her adoption. She doesn’t have to wait to go home, though.
