5 or 6 years Tri-color Yorkie
4 or 5 Silver and black Schnauzer mix If you’ve been anywhere on the Westside of Los Angeles, then you know that electric scooters are everywhere, zipping along our sidewalks and cruising in our bike lanes. Many say they are just a passing fad.... Perhaps... We know one thing for sure, however. Our Scooter is no passing fad! He’s here to find a new family with whom he’ll stay forever.... Found wandering the streets by a Good Samaritan, Scooter is one of the happiest, sweetest dogs we’ve ever had. He loves everyone, human and canine, equally and cannot wait to begin sharing his love with the family fortunate enough to take him home. He’s recovering from a couple of bumps and bruises he received while on the streets, but he’ll be as good as new in no time. We don’t think he even realizes he had a foxtail imbedded in his paw! He’s just that easygoing! Scooter is neutered, microchipped, and current on all vaccines. So, hurry on over. This Scooter can’t wait to do some zipping and cruising with you!
4 years Tan and white Terrier mix Three bundles of matted hair and foxtails were brought to the shelter by someone who said they were strays. Whether or not they actually were we will never know, but we DO know that no living creature should ever be treated as these precious pups were. Marvel, the only boy in the group, was aptly named because he is truly a marvelous boy. Sweet and loving in spite of the past horrors he’s lived, the handsome dog beneath the mats surprised us all, immediately winning our hearts. Weighing 13.5 pounds, Marvel is a hero for he survived the unimaginable and is now patiently waiting to begin his new life. He is neutered, microchipped, current on all vaccines, and happy his new life will bring visits to a groomer so he never again has to bear the weight of dreadlocked hair!
5 years Tan and white Poodle/Chihuahua mix Three bundles of matted hair and foxtails were brought to the shelter by someone who said they were strays. Whether or not they actually were we will never know, but we DO know that no living creature should ever be treated as these precious pups were. Fanny, the smallest of the three, had to be completely shaved; but, as we all know, hair grows back, and Fanny’s lovely locks will soon return. What will not have to return, however, for it never left, is this sweet girl’s spirit. In spite of her ordeal, she loves everyone she meets, and we’ve promised her she will never again be anyone’s ‘Second Hand Rose’. Fanny weighs 11.5 pounds and is spayed, microchipped, and current on all vaccines.
4 years Tan and white Shih Tzu/Poodle mix Our little Sophie did not have a choice when she was picked up and dumped in the nearest shelter. Even if she had protested, her cries would have fallen on deaf ears....that is until a lovely shelter volunteer spotted her and knew Perfect Pet needed to rescue her. Now safe with us, Sophie can rest assured that she will definitely have choices from now on, and we will happily help her make them. Most importantly, we will make sure her next home will truly be forever. Still not sure she can ever again trust people, Sophie is frightened and seems unfamiliar with being picked up. Once in your arms, however, she begins to relax and welcome your gentle touch. Sophie weighs 9.5 pounds and is spayed, microchipped, and current on all vaccines. Because her life has been so unpredictable, Sophie needs a quiet home with no small children. Once she finds her forever family, her possibilities will be endless...as they always should have been.
3 years Tan Terripoo Rumor has it that Perfect Pet Rescue just got the handsomest dog..! You guessed it, meet Rumor, our 16-pound Terripoo who, in spite of his dreadlocks, is still our gorgeous golden boy. He may be a bit bewildered by the world and somewhat distrustful of people, but he is slowly realizing that he is now safe and that most people are actually very kind. With some good old fashioned lovin’, we have no doubt he’ll soon become your best friend. He does, though, not want any young human siblings, but siblings of the canine persuasion are just fine with him. Rumor is neutered, microchipped, and current on his vaccines. So, hurry and come see for yourself. The rumor is really true!
1 year Tan Terripoo Guinness has broken the record for the cutest dog ever, and now he is ready to share his good fortune with a new forever family. His cuteness is only rivaled by his sweetness and desire to love and be loved. Guinness is rather shy at first, but a couple of tasty treats will win his heart. As much as he just wants to be with someone who will treat him with the gentle kindness he deserves, he prefers that someone be an adult. Children are just too unpredictable for his fledgling trust. Guinness weighs 9.5 pounds and is neutered, microchipped, and current on all vaccines. Most importantly, he’s ready for you. The question is...are you ready for him?!
3 to 4 years White and brown Terrific Terrier Emmi may weigh a mere 6.5 pounds, but she’s got the heart and soul of a much larger dog. Confident and bold, this little waif knows what she wants and does not hesitate to let you know. She seems to enjoy long walks, curiously sniffing along the way. Emmi acquiesces to being held, but she prefers to be free to decide where she wants to be. She also prefers a home without children. With her long slender legs and petite frame, Emmi’s not telling us her pedigree. As cute as she is, though, there is really no need for her to. She’ll turn heads wherever she goes. She is spayed, microchipped, current on all vaccines, and ready to begin life as the center of your world!
6 or 7 years Tri-color Maltipoo "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it." Wise words from Ferris Bueller after successfully feigning an illness so he could spend time gadding about town rather than sitting in a classroom. Well, our Ferris was running around town all right, but not because his life was passing him by. No, this little 7-pound fellow was lost and trying desperately to find his way home. As luck would have it, he ran right into the arms of a Good Samaritan who promised him he’d find a new home better than the one he’d had. Ferris is absolutely adorable, ferociously friendly, and an all-around good guy. Now that he has had a bath, been neutered, been microchipped, and received all his vaccines, he’s not taking anymore time off until he finds his forever home. Who will be the lucky person who will ensure little Ferris never misses a moment of his new life?
we always have a variety of small dogs looking for a home!
